About Us
Your partner, always by your side
We are a firm of Labor and Social Security Attorneys (Sharoushi), the Japanese national qualification for labor and social insurance law. Sharoushi are a separate profession from lawyers (bengoshi); we are not a law firm. From the essentials of labor management — procedures, payroll and rules of employment — to harassment prevention, mental health and balancing medical treatment with work, we are a trusted partner close at hand for small and medium-sized businesses and sole proprietors.

The meaning of our name

In Hawaiian, leʻa means "joy, pleasure, happiness" and hoa means "companion, friend, partner." We aim to be a partner who is always by your side, helping everyone around us be happy.
Services
What we do
We support companies and the people who work for them in four areas. All services are provided in Japanese.
Labor and social security services
Social and labor insurance procedures for hiring and leaving, payroll, rules of employment, subsidy applications, labor consultation, and support during inspections by the Labor Standards Inspection Office. One-off requests are also welcome.
Training and seminars
Harassment prevention, mental health (self-care and line care), assertive communication, career design and more, tailored to your company. From JPY 11,000 per hour (tax included, negotiable).
Counseling and mental health care
Our industrial counselor listens to concerns about workplace relationships, parenting and careers. From JPY 11,000 per 50 minutes (tax included), at our room near Shinagawa Station, at your office or home (travel expenses extra), or via Zoom.
Balancing medical treatment and work
Our representative, a cancer survivor, helps you build support systems, train managers and plan returns to work. We also help medical institutions set up consultation services.
